How to get here
By car
From Ljubljana take the A1 motorway to Koper, then the H6 expressway towards Izola. From Italy, cross at Škofije and continue past Koper the same way. Enter Šared 19c, Izola in your navigation. You park next to the house.
By bus
Izola bus station is 3.7 km away. From there, take a taxi up to us. To get around the coast you will still need a car.
By plane
The nearest airport is Trieste, 74 km or just over an hour's drive. Ljubljana airport is 135 km away. You can hire a car at both.

Beaches
The Simonov zaliv and Delfin beaches are on the west side of Izola, 8 to 9 minutes by car. Strunjan and Portorož are 13 minutes away.
Walks and cycling
Šared lies among olive groves and vineyards, away from the traffic. There are paths for walking and cycling around the house.
Day trips
Piran is 20 minutes away, Koper 15, Trieste 35. The Italian border at Škofije is a 17-minute drive.
